For the Diaguita cosmovision, the soul becomes a star at death. The astronomical plates, as residues, are archeological testimonies of a past and a present that intertwine. From this imaginary, both pieces dialogue and articulate as a painful epitaph: My name will be heard singing through the whispers of the valley. The artist chooses these words for her funeral plaque, in order to correspond to the notions of death and astronomy from a site formerly inhabited by the Diaguita.
