The project Replicas arises in 2016 from an artistic residency facilitated by Sinopsis Australis, between the artists Francisco Belarmino and Estefanía Muñoz Cabrera.

It is the multimedia result of the research that both artists conducted linking two cities affected by major earthquakes that left contrasting realities, proposing a shared reflection on the notion of replica, this project seeks to go beyond the surface of the devastation, inviting to reflect on the resonance of tragedy and artistic creation as a response to adversity.
