The visual discourse of both pieces, the documentary and the photobook, resorts to landscape shots, portraits and details that attempt to recompose from fragments the biographical experience of Victorina: a municipal sweeper and yerbatera from Illapel who inherited by family tradition the trade of collecting wild medicinal plants.

Her variegated appearance, her daily attire of party dresses full of sequins and rhinestones, are a point of color that interrupts the brownish palette of the semi-arid, and at the same time discontinues the canonical imaginaries of femininity. Just as some plants burst in the middle of the cobblestones of the city.
